Secure your copy ahead of release. Pre-ordering reserves stock before general availability and helps us place accurate orders with our distributors.

Orders are dispatched in line with eBay's pre-order requirements (within 40 business days). In practice, we aim to dispatch within 1–4 working days of stock arriving at our warehouse following its release.

Release schedules are determined by publishers and distributors and may occasionally change. If a title experiences a significant delay beyond our original estimate, or we're unable to fulfil a confirmed pre-order, we'll contact you promptly to discuss the most appropriate way forward.

We honour all confirmed pre-orders, regardless of changes in market value.

SHIPPING

Pre-order items are dispatched within 1–4 working days of arriving at our warehouse following our quality control checks.

Orders containing multiple items are typically dispatched together once all items are available. If a title experiences a significant publisher or distributor delay, we may dispatch available items separately at no additional shipping cost rather than delay your entire order. This decision is made at our discretion. If you'd prefer part of your order to be dispatched earlier for any other reason, split shipments can be arranged on request, subject to an additional shipping charge.

One shipping charge per shipment. Unlimited eligible comics.

We've chosen this approach because we believe it's the fairest way to price comics. Rather than building postage costs into every title, we charge a fair price for each comic and a single flat-rate tracked shipping fee, so the more comics you add, the better value your delivery becomes. We also absorb part of the postage and specialist collector packaging costs to help keep delivery fair and affordable.

Evri Tracked is our standard delivery service, with Royal Mail Tracked 48 also available during checkout.

MANAGING YOUR ORDERS

Orders placed separately using the same customer name and delivery address may be combined before dispatch where practical. Any excess shipping paid will be automatically refunded.

Looking to add more? Before placing another order, get in touch and we'll be happy to help. Where possible, we can reserve additional items against your existing order and arrange payment when everything is ready to dispatch.

If you've already placed multiple orders, feel free to let us know before dispatch. While not essential, a quick nudge is always appreciated.

Every order is packed to a collector's standard using rigid comic mailers to help ensure your comics arrive in the best possible condition. Every comic also undergoes an individual quality check before dispatch, helping us maintain the standards we've set for Spooky Electro and provide transparent condition expectations wherever applicable. Whether you're buying to collect or simply to read, every order receives the same level of care and attention before it leaves our warehouse.

Pre-Orders:
Every comic is individually quality checked before dispatch. We aim to supply comics meeting our expected VF+ standard or better, wherever reasonably possible.

Released Titles:
Where applicable, listings include our Spooky Electro condition grade, helping you understand exactly what to expect before you buy.

Manufacturing & Handling:
Minor manufacturing and handling imperfections can occur. Where these fall below our expected standard, the comic will receive an appropriate Spooky Electro grade.

Listing Images:
VF and FN listings always include photographs of the comic for sale. VF/NM and VF+ listings may also include additional images where helpful.

Questions or Concerns:
If there's ever a problem with your order, please get in touch before leaving feedback or opening a case. We'll always do our best to resolve genuine issues quickly and fairly.

Spooky Electro Condition Guide

About Our Grading:
Every comic is individually quality checked before dispatch. Our grades are designed to provide clear and consistent expectations before you buy.

Independent Grading:
These grades are unique to Spooky Electro and are not intended to be directly comparable with CGC or CBCS.

● VF/NM:
Our highest standard. Little to no visible handling or manufacturing imperfections.

● VF+:
Minor spine ticks or light manufacturing imperfections may be present, but corner dings, creasing and significant edge wear are not expected.

● VF:
Noticeable handling or manufacturing imperfections, such as multiple spine ticks, minor corner dings, light edge wear or slight cover waviness.

● FN:
More noticeable cosmetic imperfections, such as corner creasing, multiple spine ticks, edge wear, cover waviness or age-related yellowing.

Listing Images:
VF and FN listings always include photographs of the comic for sale. VF/NM and VF+ listings may also include additional images where helpful.

Returns

Comics:
Comics, Trade Paperbacks, Hardcovers and Omnibus editions are non-returnable once dispatched under the Consumer Contracts Regulations exemption for unsealed periodicals. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Blind & Mystery Products:
All Blind Bags, Blind Boxes and other sealed chance-based products are non-returnable. This includes products that remain factory sealed. By purchasing these items, you accept the randomly selected contents as part of the product. To protect the integrity of these products for all customers, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted due to duplicate contents, rarity, collectability, perceived value or personal preference.

Other Collectables:
Unopened collectables may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, complete and returned in their original packaging.

Pre-Order Cancellations:
Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time before dispatch unless clearly identified as a special order, bespoke request or another non-cancellable purchase.

Refunds:
Approved refunds are normally processed within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Account Review:
In the interests of keeping our service fair for all customers, accounts may be reviewed following repeated returns, cancellations or policy-related issues. Where appropriate, we may decline future orders.

Shipping

UK Delivery:
Evri Tracked is our standard delivery service. Royal Mail Tracked 48 is also available where applicable.

International Delivery:
We do not generally offer international shipping. If you're interested in a particular item, please reach out and we'll be happy to explore the options available.

Combined Shipping:
Orders may be combined or split at our discretion. Any excess shipping paid where orders are combined will be refunded where applicable.

Orders containing pre-order items are dispatched once all items are available. Split shipments can be arranged on request, subject to an additional shipping charge.

Busy Periods:
During major new releases, promotional events or holiday periods, dispatch may take slightly longer than usual. If this happens, we'll keep you updated.

Publisher Delays:
Significant publisher or distributor delays may result in orders being split and dispatched separately at our discretion.

Packaging:
Every order is dispatched using rigid comic mailers and appropriate protective packaging for the items ordered.

Bagging & Boarding

Complimentary:
Bagging and boarding is included at no additional cost where appropriate.

Materials:
We use quality comic bags and boards selected to provide appropriate protection during storage and transit.

Sizing:
Current, Silver or Magazine-sized bags and boards may be used, depending on the product.

Supplier Transition:
During our transition, orders may be supplied using Comic Care or Comic Stor bags and boards, depending on stock availability.

Oversized Items:
Some oversized publications cannot be bagged and/or boarded due to their format.

Product Information:
Images, creator credits, specifications and release dates are supplied by publishers and distributors and may change without notice.

Cover Artwork:
Unless a listing specifically states "Virgin Cover", artwork shown without trade dress may be supplied with publisher logos, barcodes and other trade dress.

Product Changes:
Publishers may update artwork, creators, specifications, release dates, formats, cover designs, incentives or other product details before release. Where a significant change affects your order, we'll contact you with the available options.
