Quality & Condition

Pre-Orders:
Every comic is individually quality checked before dispatch. We aim to supply VF/NM wherever possible, with VF+ or better as our expected supplied standard.

VF/NM:
Our highest standard. Little to no visible handling or manufacturing imperfections.

VF+:
Minor spine ticks or light manufacturing imperfections may be present. VF+ copies will not display corner dings, creasing or significant edge wear.

Released Titles:
Where applicable, listings include our Spooky Electro condition grade, helping you understand exactly what to expect before you buy.

Manufacturing & Handling:
Minor manufacturing and handling imperfections can occur. Where these fall below our expected standard, the comic will receive an appropriate Spooky Electro grade.

Listing Images:
VF and FN listings always include photographs of the comic for sale. VF/NM and VF+ listings may also include additional images where helpful.

Spooky Electro Condition Guide

About Our Grading:
Every comic is individually quality checked before dispatch. Our grades are designed to provide clear and consistent expectations before you buy.

Independent Grading:
These grades are unique to Spooky Electro and are not intended to be directly comparable with CGC or CBCS.

● VF/NM:
Our highest standard. Little to no visible handling or manufacturing imperfections.

● VF+:
Minor spine ticks or light manufacturing imperfections may be present. Up to two or three light spine ticks may still fall within this grade, but corner dings, creasing and significant edge wear are not expected.

● VF:
Noticeable handling or manufacturing imperfections, such as multiple spine ticks, minor corner dings, light edge wear or slight cover waviness.

● FN:
More noticeable cosmetic imperfections, such as corner creasing, multiple spine ticks, edge wear, cover waviness or age-related yellowing.

Listing Images:
VF and FN listings always include photographs of the comic for sale. VF/NM and VF+ listings may also include additional images where helpful.

Returns

Comics:
Comics, Trade Paperbacks, Hardcovers and Omnibus editions are non-returnable once dispatched under the Consumer Contracts Regulations exemption for unsealed periodicals. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Blind & Mystery Products:
All Blind Bags, Blind Boxes and other sealed chance-based products are non-returnable. This includes products that remain factory sealed. By purchasing these items, you accept the randomly selected contents as part of the product. To protect the integrity of these products for all customers, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted due to duplicate contents, rarity, collectability, perceived value or personal preference.

Other Collectables:
Unopened collectables may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, complete and returned in their original packaging.

Pre-Order Cancellations:
Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time before dispatch unless clearly identified as a special order, bespoke request or another non-cancellable purchase.

Refunds:
Approved refunds are normally processed within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Account Review:
In the interests of keeping our service fair for all customers, accounts may be reviewed following repeated returns, cancellations or policy-related issues. Where appropriate, we may decline future orders.

Shipping

UK Delivery:
£2.99 flat rate (UK) — Evri tracked delivery as standard.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 available as an upgrade (£3.99).

International Shipping:
Please enquire for a quote, including the Channel Islands.

Packaging:
All comics are shipped in protective rigid mailers with branded packaging touches where available.

Pre-Orders & In-Stock Items:
Orders containing pre-order items are dispatched once all items are available. In-stock items purchased alongside pre-orders will be held and shipped together.

eBay Shipping:
eBay purchases of in-stock and pre-order items may incur separate shipping charges. Where possible, we'll combine shipments and refund one flat-rate postage charge. Please contact us before ordering if you require combined shipping.

Combined Orders:
Orders to the same address may be combined where possible. Significant publisher delays may result in orders being split and dispatched separately at our discretion.

Delivery Timing

Distributor Deliveries:
Distributor deliveries generally arrive Wednesday–Friday.

Release Processing:
Shipping begins shortly after stock arrives from our distributor and completes our quality control process.

Dispatch:
Orders are dispatched within 1–4 working days of stock arrival following our quality control checks.

Peak Periods:
During major releases, exceptionally busy periods or holidays, dispatch may take slightly longer.

Bagging & Boarding

Complimentary Protection:
Bagging and boarding is complimentary for all eligible items using Current, Silver or Magazine sizes as appropriate.

Supplies:
Premium Comic Stor and Comiccare supplies are used.

Supplier Transition:
During our supplier transition period, books may be received in either Comic Stor or Comiccare bags and boards depending on time of processing and stock availability.

Bag & Board Size:
Books may be packaged in either Current or Silver size formats while remaining Comiccare stock is phased out.

Oversized Items:
Some oversized items may not be bagged and/or boarded due to format.

Supplier Notes

Product Information:
Orders placed by SKU/UPC — images, artist information and release dates subject to change.

Cover Artwork:
If a Virgin cover is shown and the title does not specify "Virgin," trade dress should be expected.

Incentives & Variants:
Incentive or variant changes that affect the originally offered item may result in order cancellation and refund.

Availability:
In rare cases of distributor shortages or allocation cuts, orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Where possible, stock will be sourced from alternative suppliers. If an order cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued immediately.
