"Called Game" is a short story from the Appleseed manga series, written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow. It is featured in the first of the two Appleseed graphical encyclopedias, Appleseed ID. The story is set between "The Scales of Prometheus" and the unfinished "Book Five" and is known for its taut narrative and well-illustrated plot.
